Registered Manager – Children’s Manager

Trident Healthcare Solutions are looking for an experienced, Registered Manager in a Children’s residential setting, leading, managing, and developing a team of residential childcare workers who will be helping and supporting the children with their daily needs.

 

Location Wolverhampton

Salary £32,000 – £38,000

Hours 37.5 hours (per week)

Responsibilities

·        To ensure that the home meets the standards and expectations of its statement of purpose.

·        The home manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the homes.

·        You will be proactive in developing the home and raising its profile in the community.

·        You’ll be responsible for recruitment, retention, training, and staff development.

·        You will participate in the regular supervision of staff and ensure that the staff employed are able to carry out their role effectively.

·        As the home manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of excellent service within the home.

·        You will ensure that the home is compliant with care standards regulations and that evidence of such compliance is permanently recorded and available for inspection by CQC and local authorities.

·        A critical requirement of this role is maintaining a high standard of care planning, delivery, and record keeping.

·        Attend regular meetings with the managing director and assist the director of operations in developing and implementing new approaches to service delivery

 

To be Considered

·        Level 3 Child Care/ Level 4 Child Care.

·        Good standard literacy and numeracy

·        Good organizational skills

·        Team building and supervision skills

·        Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing

·        Residential experience as a registered manager in a children’s residential setting.

·        Residential experience as a deputy manager in a children’s residential setting.
