Key Responsibilities
✔ Scrub for a Range of Surgical Specialties – Assist in orthopaedic, general, and ophthalmic procedures
✔ Instrument & Equipment Handling – Ensure the correct surgical tools are ready and used efficiently
✔ Sterile Field Management – Maintain a safe and sterile operating environment
✔ Work Closely with Theatre Teams – Support surgeons, anaesthetists, and perioperative staff
✔ Ensure High Standards of Patient Safety & Care – Adhere to hospital protocols and infection control measures
Requirements:
- Valid NMC or HCPC Registration
- Proven Experience in Scrub Practice (Ortho, General, Ophthalmic preferred)
- Strong Knowledge of Theatre Protocols & Aseptic Techniques
- Ability to Work Under Pressure in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Excellent Communication & Teamwork Skills
