Job Description: Trident Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Band 7 Speech and Language for a locum assignment based within the Acute Stroke and Critical Care units at an NHS hospital in Buckinghamshire. The successful candidate will independently manage a caseload of complex patients with a wide range of aetiologies.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of complex patients with dysphagia and communication difficulties arising from a wide range of aetiologie

• Complete assessments, treatment plans, and onward referrals

• Carry out clinical administration tasks

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records

 

Skills and Experience Required:

• Experienced NHS Acute stroke and critical care wards as an SLT

• Ideally competent with videofluroscopy

• Ideally competent with working with tracheostomy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone and email

 

Essential Requirements:

• Candidates must have NHS experience

• Candidates must hold HCPC registration
