Our client is one of the major care providers in Southern England, and one of the largest not-for-profit care companies in the UK Delightful rural county of Somerset with 25 of their 27 care homes. Set across a county with varied landscapes rolling Blackdown, Mendip, Quantock Hills, Exmoor National Park, Somerset, Taunton and Wells.
Their mission is to support people living a life the residents choose.
Reporting: Manager, Nurse or senior staff on duty
Key Tasks
Supporting with day to day living tasks such as personal care, hygiene keeping, housekeeping, mealtimes and undertake manual handling duties as required.
Access and update confidential records using a computer.
Maintain a time schedule of medication intake.
Making sure everything is safe and clean.
Maintaining an environment that is appropriate to the needs of those we support.
Helping residents do administrative tasks like paying bills, going shop for food.
Our client has a mixture of hours that range depending on the needs of the wards. We tend to see requirements for either Long days or Nights.
All applicants must have Right to Work in the UK already in place.
