Job Description: Trident Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Band 6 Speech and Language for a locum assignment based within the Acute setting at an NHS hospital in Birmingham. The successful candidate will independently manage a caseload of complex patients with acquired swallow and communication difficulties

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of complex patients with dysphagia

• Complete assessments, treatment plans, and onward referrals

• Carry out clinical administration tasks

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records

 

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years Acute hospital setting experience

• Dysphagia trained

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone and email

 

Essential Requirements:

• Candidates must have NHS experience

• Candidates must hold HCPC registration

• Candidates must hold the right to work in the UK
