Recovery Nurse

Trident Healthcare is seeking multiple skilled and experienced Recovery Nurses to join a renowned cosmetic clinic in South East London. As a Recovery Nurse, you will provide critical care to patients post-surgery, ensuring their safe recovery and comfort after cosmetic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patients during the recovery phase post-cosmetic surgery.
• Assess and record patients’ vital signs, ensuring early detection of any complications.
• Administer medications and provide pain management as prescribed.
• Provide support and reassurance to patients as they recover from anaesthesia and surgery.
• Work closely with the surgical and anaesthetic teams to ensure smooth post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient conditions and interventions.
• Ensure the recovery area is sterile and well-equipped at all times.
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families, addressing any concerns during the recovery process.
• Ensure a safe discharge process, providing patients with post-operative instructions and follow-up care advice.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Recovery Nurse in a clinical or surgical setting.
• Previous experience in a cosmetic surgery or aesthetic environment is highly desirable.
• Current and valid UK NMC registration.
• Strong knowledge of post-operative care and recovery procedures.
